Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot allows you to carry pistols on an operation. Some players employ it to help reach certain goals, especially those who want to achieve Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to fill in the gap. It is important to remember that to select the pistols in this slot you must click on the button for the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also adds damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as it is placed in.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled item slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring in tools and weapons, but it could use a better opportunity. It's currently shaped like an a gun, which makes it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot that is smuggled from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slot can house an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in places around the map. They can be picked up at anytime. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.
Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for each task.
Gear Slot
Early on in the game players will find their gear slots fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenging missions. Since a lot of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots in the game.
Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.
Agents can pick up the passengers.
As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot. You can retrieve them later.
These pickups are especially useful if you have to go through a frisk later in the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise trigger suspicion. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
This DLC adds new contracts to security and asset protection to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Once you've reached the marker for your mission you can identify a crowd at the time you arrive.
